Dancin Christmas Snowmen in Holiday Travel Directory

Yes, I know you are wondering... dancing Christmas snowmen? I assure you my friend, they do indeed dance. However, the only time Ive ever witnessed the spectacle was when I was a young child. Christmas Eve had brought the traditional preparation that accompanies family gatherings. Mother had encouraged my brother and me to go outside to play in the snow. After a snowball fight and an attempt at a snow fortress, we settled down to build a snowman. With great care, we rolled snow into snowballs, stacked them, and after placing coal eyes, branch arms, and a carrot nose, we headed inside for the feast Mother had prepared. After filling our bellies, we headed to our beds knowing that Saint Nicholas would be visiting soon. As It grew colder outside and the snowman began to shift his weight around. He knew that he had to make the best of his existance, as a snowmans life is a short one. Instictually, the snowman began to sway back and forth to the sound of the wind in the trees. He danced for joy. You see, to a snowman, the colder it becomes, the more he can dance. And he danced... for hours, moving to his own magical rhythm, enjoying the music of quiet. That is when I spotted him sashaying through the pines... So if you happen to spy a snowman moving gracfully over the snow, leave him be... he is content to merely enjoy his existance in true Christmas spirit...
