Nonnie and I gave up the city life in 1976 for country living and have never looked back. We operate, what is now, the only Holly farm in Holley Oregon. A fairly casual life of nurturing and feeding the holly trees for most of the year, then running like crazy for three weeks right after Thanksgiving. Donna, a long time friend and local florist, with her creative touch makes our beautiful holly wreaths. Sometimes I wish she wasnt so particular, but I guess thats how artists are. And we sure are proud of her creations. Our home and farm were featured in Country Woman book published in the fall of 2002. And in the Christmas issue of Country Woman magazine in 2004.
